The stadium was opened on the 15th July, 2017 with a friendly v EPL side Sheffield United.The stadium is sponsored by Flamingo Land, a world-renowned theme park located 30 minutes from Scarborough.The Adverset stand was built in 2019 to increase the seating capacity of the ground.
